Job Summary
To provide a professional, proactive, efficient and effective and administrative support to the Facilities Management Department- Insurance Services. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE S •To process invoices for payment. •To provide insurance claims and underwriting support to IDC staff, Pensioners and subsidiaries. •Assist clients with claim forms and applications for cover. •Maintain records a1d comprehensive database. •To maintain reports and update on third party recoveries. •To monitor claims in order to avoid "fruitless expenditure for the Corporation. •Coordinate the pre-Insurance meetings and prepare relevant documentation. •Taking enquiries from internal and external clients. •Collating and filing of documents. •To provide an efficient customer service to both internal and external customers QUALIFICATIONS •Minimum Diploma in Administration, or equivalent KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE •2 to 5 years proven administrative experience •Knowledge of IDC Insurance System •Previous insurance work experience •Demonstrable experience working with leadership, management, professional employees and all other staff members. •Effective, versatile, and action-oriented. •Knowledge of Insurance regulations TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES •MS 360 suite (Ms-Word, Ms-Excel, Ms-PowerPoint, Ms-Teams) •Data management and dashboards •Presentation skills •Attention to detail •Excellent time management skills •Ability to multi-task • Good verbal and written communication skills BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES •Interpersonal skills •Good ethics, integrity, and high level of professionalism •Confidentiality because of the nature of the work •Communication skills (both written and verbal) •Ability to multi-task and thrive under work pressure
