We are seeking an experienced Production and Industrial Engineering Manager to lead the warehousing and production facility of a rapidly growing business unit within our group. The Person will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end performance, continuous improvement, and compliance across production, warehousing, and fulfillment functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Optimisation:
Define, design, and regularly review detailed SOPs, workflow processes, quality controls, and measurement and tracking indices for each production line function.
Design, review, and optimise control systems to minimise costs, eliminate production issues, and mitigate risks in a high-value environment.
Capacity Planning and Performance Measurement:
Develop and implement capacity plans to ensure the facility can support market demand.
Establish clearly defined weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets for performance measurement.
Support the Technical, Production, and Admin Supervisors/Managers in optimising operations in their respective areas.
Production Line Management:
Oversee production schedules, velocity tracking, and dependency management.
Anticipate bottlenecks, clarify project priorities, identify risks, and escalate issues that cannot be internally resolved.
Manage, assess, and evolve the production line, capacity, and resource requirements as the business develops and expands.
Logistics and Resource Management:
Oversee all logistics and management of essential components required in the production process.
Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
Team Management:
Lead and support warehouse and production teams to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Foster and drive performance among team members.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science - Engineering qualification.
5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse operations.

Regularly manage and develop expansion plans or introduce new processes within the production line.

Manage complexity throughout the production line, constantly assessing areas of risk by implementing preventative strategies.

Proactive Risk Identification:
Be aware of and report any issues that might put the business at risk.
