General Manager (Manufacturing) - Stellenbosch Western Cape, Stellenbosch R 1200000 - R 1600000 Annually Cost To Company (Market related, Negotiable) A well established biomedical company that supplies products with clinical benefit to hospitals all over the world, is looking for a General manager to take over Operations, Finance and Compliance. The objective of this new role is to ensure the growing company delivers on its promises. The position reports to Managing Director and has numerous teams reporting into the role. Skills and Experience: Strong executional strengths, rather than casting vision Understanding and experience of process, with the ability to learn and support compliance and regulations (no experience in Medical Devices required) Understanding and experience to manage and lead Beneficial Experience: Technical background - A task orientated Mechanical or Mechatronics engineer with management experience should fit the role well. Financial background - finance could be another backbone, adding the likelihood that a deep understanding and appreciation of compliance and regulation would come easier.
