With a view of Table Mountain, this luxury villa resort is nestled near the seaside. This property requires a highly motivated and experienced Villa General Manager to lead the team and ensure the seamless operation of their 13 luxury suites.
Job Description:
As the Villa General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our villa. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Financial Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of cost of sales, Profit & Loss statements, and budget management to ensure the profitability of the villa.
2. Leadership & Labour Laws: Provide strong leadership and an in-depth knowledge of labour laws to effectively manage and motivate the villa's staff, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
3. Guest Relations: Uphold and promote our commitment to excellent guest relations, going above and beyond to ensure our guests' satisfaction and engagement with the villa.
4. Hands-On Approach: Be flexible and hands-on, ready to step in and assist in various aspects of villa operations, from housekeeping to front desk, as needed.
5. Staff Motivation & Inspiration: Motivate and inspire the team to consistently deliver top-notch service, maintaining high morale and creating a positive work culture.
6. Passion for Hospitality: Bring a deep-seated passion for the hospitality industry, maintaining a strong focus on quality service, and delivering a memorable guest experience.
7. Semper Reservations Systems: Proficiency in using the Semper reservations system to manage bookings, inventory, and guest information effectively or similar will be suffice
8. Food Service Management: Oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner service operations, ensuring the highest standard of food quality and service.
9. Well-Groomed: Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance to set an example for the staff and to ensure a high standard of personal presentation.
Qualifications:
Hospitality Qualification from a reputable establishment or equivalent in experience
Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury villa or Guest House setting.
