Trainee Machine Operator Duties & Responsibilities To train in operating high speed bag making machines according to quality standards Responsible for ensuring all production and quality checks are produced and done Run the machine to the specifications to achieve productivity and efficiency Ensure production output standards are met Ensure smooth change overs Setup and configure the machine as per standard operating procedures Ensure that no damage/ poor quality of work is produced Assist with the maintenance of the machine as and when required Ensure work area and machine is kept clean at all times (General housekeeping) Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Factory Manager Adhere to health and safety regulations Desired Experience & Qualification Must be proficient with tools Grade 10-12 Multi Skilled, willing to learn new skills Must be able to work independently and operate the machine without supervision after training Ability to lift raw materials and finished product- maximum weight 50kgs Willing to work shifts (day and night), weekends and overtime Great problem-solving skills (Technical) Eager Physically fit Safety conscious Will be required to work shifts Interested applicants are required to forward their CV along with a motivation letter, to info@nupack.co.za, We are committed to Employment Equity.
