Senior Technicians with a minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following: On site servicing & installation of: Fire detection and suppression systems. Access control systems CCTV systems Public address and evacuation systems Nurse call systems Network cabling and infrastructure Your duties will include the installation, maintenance and servicing of the above systems and commissioning thereof. You will ensure the installations are neat, correct, and that the installation of systems is completed within the required time periods. Installations to be in line with business and industry standards and meet the applicable accreditation standards. You will have expertise installing high profile, fast paced projects and are able to ensure that any changes required on site to install the systems are timeously reported. You will carry out maintenance on systems and equipment and be able to identify systems faults and recommend repairs or service required. Your ability to read drawings and work solely from construction drawings is critical. Keep forms and records to document daily project activities and ensure quality of work on site is maintained to ensure that it meets the project standards and specifications. Ensure any deviations in required materials are timeously reported to the project manager to allow time for ordering. Proper control over all documents and records of all tests on site to include in handover documents as proof of functional testing. Timeous handing in of all completed job cards Be able to manage an assistant where required Adherence to project and Environmental Health and Safety plans Keep forms and records to document daily project activities Manager and adjust as agreed with Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of projects Maintaining a good customer relationship with all Commercial Clients whilst on site Focus on ensuring quality service to clients Education and Certification: Have completed Matric Level 4 (Commissioner) in Detection and Gas Suppression SAQCC registered with minimum of Installer & Commissioner Certification, Fire Panel Training, CCTV, Access Control 3-4 years’ work experience Valid driver’s licence.
