Our client in the Hospitality Entertainment sector has an EE opportunity available for an Engineering Manager in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. Requirements: 4-Year Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus a GCC in mechanical / electrical engineering Maximise machine availability through planning and implementation of effective maintenance systems Minimum of 5 year’s experience in a management position within a maintenance environment Project management experience Experience in managing contractors / suppliers Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements KPAs: Develop strategic objectives for the Unit’s maintenance and development deliverables Compile a preventative maintenance plan for the 12 -36 month period Identify and investigate new development, environmental and energy-saving opportunities for the property Manage and allocate people and operational resources Building & Infrastructure Management Asset Management Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management Oversee maintenance and engineering standards and processes are developed, communicated and audited on a regular basis Stakeholder Relationship Management
