MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF SAP HCM
This role acts as a bridge between the HR Department and Payroll Department, core responsibility is data-capturing and ensuring Employee Data integrity and input for payroll processing.
Process all employee benefit and employment documentation received from the business
Maintain 100% accurate system information and hard-copy files
Complete monthly audits to ensure data accuracy. e.g. link to statutory requirements
Responsible for timeous processing of benefit documentation, namely medical aid (applications, administration and withdrawals) and pension
fund (withdrawals, transfers and death benefits)
Timely ensure execution of allocated tasks on ESS/MSS i.e. personal details
Execute monthly reporting
In conjunction with Rem & Ben Coordinators assist with monthly medical aid reconciliation
•Assist in Human Resource Information System related queries/projects by conducting user testing
Maintain and Update Employee Master Data
Ensure compliance with all internal controls, agreements, systems, standards and procedures as well as legislative requirements and statutory reporting;
Loading of new Employment packs, personal information, salary info, employee benefit administration for salaried and wage employee.
Keep the SAP HRIS database up to date with changes in employee information or organization rules. This involves loading of new hires and modifying employee data during common situations such as employee promotions, movements, or terminations, salary changes, and new tax rates.
Process all other earnings and deductions that had been approved for payroll processing on HR SAP system.
Provide long service award and retirement information reports to HR Business Partners or HR Practitioners.
Maintaining and updating employee data onto SAP system.
Capture all applicable bonus, increases, awards and incentives for payroll to process.
Responsible for the employee data administration relating to new staff onboarding and resignations.
Responsible for medical aid and provident fund administration for new and resigned employees.
Pull Monthly leave reporting and analysis reports.
Responsible for generating UIF documentation for termination, maternity leave, illness benefit, death benefit and adoption benefit.
Verify Data Integrity
Regularly pull reports or conduct system audits to guarantee data integrity. Communication to department units or individuals to confirm employee information. Auditing is especially crucial before generating payroll, since errors in data can have a huge impact and will be difficult to correct afterwards.
Develop supportive relationships with others in the team and demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities;
All input and loading of information must meet all payroll deadlines.

SAP HCM experience (HR) - non-negotiable
Microsoft Office - with strong Excel skills
