A company that is credible in delivering staffing solutions, workforce management, medical fitness screening and home care has an opportunity for a Placement Consultant in Woodmead.
The Placement Consultant is responsible to ensure effective placement of assignees by matching the assignees qualification, skills and competencies to the clients staffing requirements. The incumbent will also establish sound relationships with both the company clients and the assignees working through the company.
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification
2-3 years’ experience in the Healthcare or similar environment preferable
Knowledge of service delivery management
8,5 Hour Shifts
Roles and Responsibilities
Facilitate and ensure quality staffing solutions for the clients by the effective placement of assignees.
Establish sound relationships with both the company clients and assignees.
Retain and grow the business and ensure that all service offerings are quality orientated and cost effective to both the client and the company.
Knowledge of company's service offerings to assist the Placement Arena Manager/Branch Manager with solution offerings.
Ensure solid and sound relationships with the Unit managers and their PA’s/Ward Secretaries to ensure efficient service delivery.
Understand the Client environment and their staffing requirements.
Proactively engage with the Clients to identify problems/potential problems to assist the Placement Arena/Branch Manager so that opportunities for improvement are actioned and measured.
In depth knowledge of the company database and insight into the assignees needs and preferences.
Develop solid and sound relationships with the assignees.
Fluency with company's benefit offerings, proactively engage with the assignees ensuring assignee retention and loyalty to the company Brand.
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE - Placement Arena
Adhere to the Standard Operating Process to ensure that
Staffing requirements/orders are received timeously from the client.
Staffing requests/orders/off duties/bookings are loaded on infoBOOK and attended to promptly.
Assignees are effectively allocated/placed with the necessary skills and competencies as per the clients requirements.
There is clear communication with the client with regards to outstanding orders.
Alternate solutions are offered to the client where problems have been encountered in filling the order.
There is clear communication to the clients by the stipulated deadlines, with regards to the confirmed bookings and placements for the night and day shifts.
Ensure continuous feed back to the client until each order is filled or by agreement the order is ‘cancelled’.
Ensure the after-hours and weekend support services is performed as per Standard Operating Practice.
Ensure the integrity of the data base by updating assignee personal details in infoBOOK.
Ensure that the usage of the Data base is maximised Ensure that the information from the Clinical Facilitators around new assignees is maximised and the new assignees are afforded placement opportunities.
Ensure that prior to placement assignees have valid: SANC receipts and or relevant licenses to practice, Med mal cover and valid work permits.
Assist with performance management of assignees Ensure accurate recording of all clients’ requests and the after hour call communication as per Standard Operating Practice Ensure effective hand over procedures.
Report all needlestick and IOD’S to the responsible person at branch level as per branch policy.
Inform Placement Arena Manager and Clinical Facilitators of: assignees who have been identified for up skilling and client staffing requirements.
