Job Title: Receptionist / Administrator
Description
Cape Town - A well-established laboratory instrumentation and consumable supplier requires the above to oversee the reception area and provide secretarial and administrative support to the company and customers. Minimum requirements for the role: Previous experience having worked as a Receptionist and/or Administrator is essential. Minimum Matric is essential. Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing the reception area, which includes liaising telephonically and face-to-face with staff and customers. Acting as the company’s frontline by greeting and welcoming customers. Operating the switchboard and directing calls to the correct departments. Handling all internal sales and office administration such as following up with clients. Managing the Coffee/Tea Lady and following up with the Driver on all deliveries. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
