JHB South - A leading packaging manufacturing company requires the above to be responsible for all activities relating to HR and payroll administration in line with the company’s structures, processes, disciplinary codes and procedures.
Minimum requirements for the role:
Previous experience having worked in an HR or Payroll Administrator or related role is essential.
Previous experience having worked within the Manufacturing Industry is essential.
Diploma in Human Resources or related is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience having worked on VIP Payroll and running weekly and monthly wages and payrolls including having worked on a biometric time and attendance system is essential.
Computer literacy is essential with basic working knowledge of Excel and experience doing formulae.
Previous experience having generated HR reports such as sick leave, headcount, and payroll queries is essential.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting the Directors and Managers in the application of the company’s disciplinary, grievance and termination procedures.
Ensuring that all administration is concluded in terms of grievances.
Maintaining all disciplinary reports and compiling ad hoc IR reports when requested to do so.
Ensuring union membership details are kept up to date and that all information is readily available in all personnel files.
Processing day to day salaries of input i.e. commissions, fuel, subsistence allowances and deductions.
Ensuring that the HR payroll office is maintained.
Drafting contracts such as offer letters, contracts of employment and service level agreements.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
