Description
Company in Woodmead seeking a Human Capital Service Desk Associate to deliver an efficient and effective Human Capital service desk to employees across the Group (South Africa and International), in accordance with Human Capital policies, procedures and applicable legislation. This encompasses transacting on the Human Capital system, providing first-line support and advice to the business Required outputs: Functional Human Capital Administration 1stLevel Support: Respond to staff questions about HC administration process and procedures Resolve tier-one queries in accordance with HC policy and procedures e.g. leave queries, confirmation of employment, etc. Attend to requests for information, queries and changes in accordance with requests, standard operating procedures and SLA’s Build a database of frequently asked questions to allow for efficient and consistent resolution of repetitive queries Escalate queries which cannot be resolved to the HC Administration Manager for prompt resolution Ensure queries logged to tier 2 are resolved timeously Liaise with IT Service Desk regarding service improvements and keep them abreast of changes within HCSS Identify trends in requests being logged for change management, training and system enhancement opportunities Interpret change requests into a system based on configuration and rule sets, and advise employees and line management on the subsequent impact therein Provide input into the creation of HC reports on HC service desk metrics, in consultation with HC Administration Manager and HC Reporting Administrator Keep abreast of HC policies, procedures and applicable legislation to ensure adequate knowledge and understanding to perform duties Human Capital Administration: Support the HC Administration team with the overflow of input in terms of capturing new hires, movements, terminations etc. within prescribed input deadlines and format. Prepare documents as required in terms of the scope of services e.g. confirmation of employment letters, and follow up on the return of HC records Organise and maintain employee records through effective document management, including electronic and/or paper filing systems Human Capital Shared Services Support: Provide an HC administration service to employees, line managers and HC Business Partners, to ensure information/advice is accurate, precise and timeous, as per HC policy, procedures and applicable legalization. Support the delivery of HC Calendar events, as directed by the HC Administration Manager including Adhoc projects. Qualifications and expertise required (Must) Matric / Grade 12. Diploma or Higher Certificate in Human Resource Management will be an advantage. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Administration or payroll within a corporate environment with multiple operating companies. International exposure within the Human Resource Administration environment will be an advantage. Applicable legislation (South Africa and International, for example, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, etc.). Knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures (South Africa and International). Human Resource system/software and related technologies knowledge. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel Competencies (skills, knowledge and characteristics) Attention to detail. Accuracy. Confidentiality. Honesty and integrity. Deadline driven. Team player. Professional. Customer-oriented. Initiative.
