FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER - CAPE TOWN
The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for ordering of all food, beverage, operating equipment and related stocks to ensure the operations has the required stocks for the projected business levels. Reporting to: Admin Manager . Key responsibilities: (include but are not limited to) OPERATIONAL: • Management of operating equipment ensuring par stock levels are maintained • Assisting with the maintenance of F&B outlets to ensure equipment and facilities are available for operations. • Ensure all F&B stock levels are maintained in bars and stores to par level taking into account business forecasts. • Work with beverage suppliers to ensure best price. STOCK AND FINANCIAL CONTROLS: • Ordering of all food, beverages and equipment • Negotiating with suppliers to ensure best price for the best quality • Ensure a low beverage cost of sales • Preparation of daily beverage variances for Operations Manager • Perform monthly operating equipment stock takes and provide appropriate reports • Perform full weekly and monthly beverage and cigar stock takes and preparing variance reports. • Preparation and distribution of weekly and month end COS reports Skills, Attributes and Qualifications • Matric • At least 3 years relevant working experience • Ability to communicate effectively verbal and written • Accurate reporting of figures • Highly computer literate • Cash and payment management • Personnel skills and IR knowledge.
